AgilitySurvey acquires Bierce Technical Services
9th March 2016 - Leading property surveyor AgilitySurvey is pleased to announce that it has recently acquired Bierce Technical Services (Bierce), offering its clients access to an even broader range of technical surveying solutions.
Bierce provides a comprehensive range of survey, inspection, testing and certification services for energy efficiency, heating and other property services to both the domestic and commercial property sectors. Recognised for its professional and independent advice within the technical inspection services sector, Bierce operates at the highest levels of best practice, health and safety and quality control. AgilitySurvey and Bierce share many similarities and values - both companies manage a network of highly-skilled building surveyors across the country, and both service very similar clients in a range of sectors.
This new alliance will combine resources and skills to offer existing and new clients a broader service - further enhanced and streamlined by merging processes, and drawing on greater strength and experience.
Bierce will remain in operation as Bierce Technical Services, and continue to offer impartial, expert advice to its clients.

Under the terms of the agreement, Bierce will continue to operate as a standalone business, with its Directors maintaining autonomy on all technical and professional matters. Bierce and AgilitySurvey will continue to act at all times in accordance with all relevant codes of practice, legal and regulatory guidance. In the provision of ECO Technical Monitoring, the Directors are obliged to ensure that Bierce acts at all times in accordance with the Energy Company Obligation 2015-17 (ECO2) Guidance. The controlling shareholders of AgilitySurvey will not be able to assert influence on any professional or technical matters.
